Our aim is for the children to have fun whilst learning more about God and Jesus and we do this by always including a Bible story and a craft and/or puzzle sheet relevant to the topic. The teaching materials are chosen by the group leaders themselves and the older children are encouraged to assist with the younger children during their Bible lesson under the supervision of the leaders.

We have our own Sunday School display board in the Church Hall and the children’s work is displayed for parents and church members to see and, in turn, be an encouragement to the children.

SPECIAL EVENTS

At Christmas-time, a nativity play is held where the children take over the church service and perform for the congregation. 

On Easter Sunday the children enjoy rolling their eggs.

Sunday School Prizegiving is held on the last Sunday in June. The day before this event, the children are given a special treat by way of a party.
